DJ Khaled Gets Key To Miami And Donates To Local School’s Music Program -Tha Wire [VIDEO]

AllHipHop reports Miami's finest DJ's Khaled and his 'We The Best' movement earned him the key to his city.  Thursday this week (October 29) the producer/artist got major props from Miami's mayor, Tomas Pedro Regalado, who gave him the keys to the city for his philanthropist work.  Though he was born in New Orleans, Khaled has been a life-long resident of the MIA.

Khaled was honored with a music assembly performed by students at Miami's Citrus Grove Middle School.  After the program he was able to meet with the kids and then announced he was making a nice little donation to the school's music department, through the Miami Music Project.

As I said, DJ Khaled is doing it big all levels.  Rap-Up reports the music mogul just dropped two new singles, at the same time! Of course both tracks are with features too.  One is a joint called,“You Mine” with Trey Songz, Future, and Jeremih and the other is “Gold Slugs” featuring Chris Brown, August Alsina, and Fetty Wap.
