Score another huge victory for Champagne Papi.

According to Billboard, Drake's album Views is Nielsen Music's Top Album of 2016 within the United States, selling 4.14 million equivalent albums, with 1.61 million of those sales being traditional.

Additionally, the 20-track release lived on the Billboard 200 charts for 13 non-consecutive weeks in 2016, and the ubiquitous cuts "Hotline Bling" and "One Dance" landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Here's the irony: a lot of people didn't care for Views, which was evident when people took to social media to comment on the LP being nominated for Album of the Year at this year's Grammy's.

"Views isn't even Drake's best album," one person tweeted last month. "He still ain't topped Take Care. Who ya'll think you foolin'?"

Others, however, chalked the negative comments up to sheer hate, and people not wanting to see the OVO boss win. "Mans really don't wanna see Drake win a Grammy for Best Rap Album or Album of the Year," wrote another Twitter user. "The hate is so real."

Billboard also states that Views was streamed in the equivalent of 2.02 million albums. Plus, the release itself hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, selling 245.1 million units in the U.S. alone.

Other albums that made Neilsen's 2016 top 10 list in terms of sales include Beyoncé's Lemonade, which landed at No. 3, Rihanna's Anti, which took the No. 4 spot and Ariana Grande's Dangerous, which was No. 10 on the list.
