When I think of Hip-Hop, Eric B. & Rakim definitely come to mind.  They are the essence of true Hip-Hop.  Their 1987 album release of "Paid In Full" is Hip-Hop history and had more hits than a baseball game!

From the tittle track "Paid In Full" to "I Ain't No Joke", that album was a beast.  Best of all, their getting ready to re-release it.  Here's Rakim talking to ALLHIPHOP.COM following his performance with The Roots for their Roots Picnic 2012 event in Philadelphia.
