Fantasia Is Back With A New Single – Hear It Here [VIDEO]

Fantasia is back with a new single and putting the final touches on a new album for 2013.

It's been a while since we've heard anything new from Tasia, her last project "Back To Me" dropped in 2010 and boasted three chart topping singles.  The following year, just in time for Christmas, she gave birth to an adorable baby boy named Dallas. Now that she's had a year to focus on family, it's back to work.

The former American Idol winner is back with a new single, ‘Lose to Win.’ The track features a sample from the Commodores classic "Nightshift" and tells the story of letting go of a man who’s holding her back.  Even though that can be hard to do Tasia sings "Sometimes you got to lose to win again.”  Check it out and tell us what you think.

Fantasia said her new album will be released next year in March and that it will include her new sound, “rock soul.”  In a recent interview Tasia explained the concept behind her new sound saying, “I grew up on good music.  Not only just R&B artists.  I grew up on Elton John, Aerosmith, Queen, Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald. All of these different types of music, so I feel like I don’t want to be boxed in anymore in just one type of music.”
