Who didn't see this coming...famed music manager, best known for managing NWA and rap legend Eric Eazy-E Wright, Jerry Heller has filed a multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit against anyone who had anything to do with blockbuster movie “Straight Outta Compton.” AllHipHop reports the 75-year old music mogul/businessman isn't happy with the way he was portrayed in the movie and suing to the tune of $110 million for damages.
Heller's rise to fame began in the 60's and 70's where he either managed, represented or orchestrated the tours of music legends like Elton John, Marvin Gaye, Ike and Tina Turner, The Four Tops, Pink Floyd and many others.
Also listed Heller lawsuit is the fact that he's alleging his 2006 book, Ruthless: A Memoir, was stolen and used to re-create various scenes in the movie. Among those named in the lawsuit are: NBC Universal, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. Believe it or not, he's even suing the late Eazy-E's estate.
According to TMZ Heller's main complaint is the movie defamed him and portrayed him in a false and damaging light. In addition, Heller claims the movie is full of lies including him being fired by Eazy, withholding a $75k check from Ice Cube to getting the guys to sign bad contracts.
