Get A Free Car Seat Or Booster At The Child Safety Seat Event
Do you need a car seat or booster for your child? LA State Police will be giving them away, while supplies last this Saturday across the state.
This Saturday September 20th is National Child Safety Week and National Seat Check and LA State Police will be out giving away FREE car seats and booster seats while supplies last throughout the state. This isn't about the giveaways, it's about saving lives. The sad statistics by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration are, 123,000 children under the age of 13 are either injured in car accidents. As parents and caregivers, we've need to do all we can to protect our children while ride in a vehicle.
Car accidents are the leading cause of death for children between the ages of 1 and 13. A car seat/booster can reduce those risks greatly; 71% for infants and 54% for toddlers. If you don't need a car seat and just want to know how to properly install one and any other info, feel free to stop off to any of the locations below for help.
