Join Gallery Talk With Martin Payton At Historic City Hall Arts And Cultural Center

On Tuesday June Eighteenth I want you to join me at the Historic City Hall Arts And Cultural Center 1001 Ryan Street for the Gallery Talk With Artist Martin Payton. The event will be absolutely free and is a part of the Seven Days of Juneteenth Freedom Festival.

This event will feature sculpture Martin Payton is originally from New Orleans and was also a professor of art at Southern University from 1990 until retirement in 2010. He will be providing an overview on the history and concept of his art exhibit entitled Broken Time: Sculpture by Martin Payton.

I will be the moderator for the event and will also open a Q&A session after the event for those interested in corresponding with Mr. Payton. The event is organized by LSU Museum of Art.
