Juvenile Arrested for Threat at Calcasieu Parish Alternative School
A juvenile is charged after making threats in class at the Calcasieu Parish Alternative School (CPAS) on Thursday morning. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer was notified at roughy 11:00am about the possible threat, said a media release from Kayla Vincent.
Detectives learned that during class the 13-year-old girl said: someone needed to come to shoot up the school and that she also threatened to shoot the teacher.
The teen was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center. She's charged with terrorizing.
