Katt Williams Arrested…Again – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire, CBS reports comedian/actor Katt Williams has been arrested Saturday, October 6, 2018 for allegedly laying hands on his driver. The 47-year old entertainer arrived in Portland, Oregon Friday, and was scheduled to attend the Wild N Out Music And Comedy Show. Williams never made the show, because he got reortedly get into a fight with the driver who came to pick him up at the airport.

According to reports, the star arrived at Atlantic Aviation on a private plane with his dog and the driver evidently had a problem with the animal riding in the car. A heated exchange quickly turned physical, and the driver wound up being treated at a nearby hospital for cuts to his face. CBS reported Katt found another driver and left the scene shortly afterward.

Portland PD reports they were called to the scene, and the driver filed a report on the alleged assault. Katt, whose real name is Micah Williams, was arrested Saturday morning for suspicion of assault and an out-of-state warrant from Georgia. At last word he was being held at Multnomah County Jail, charged with assault in the fourth degree, bail was set for $2,500 and his arraignment was sometime today.
