The American Job Center (2424 3rd Street, Lake Charles) is hosting the '2023 Quartly Job Fair' in Lake Charles. This annual event will take place at the Lake Charles Civic Center at 900 Lakeshore Drive in the Exhibition Hall, on Tuesday, July 11 from 9:30 am to noon.

The American Job Center reports that there will be between 40  to 45 employers, businesses, and community resource agencies attending Tuesday's job fair. They are actively looking for workers in the Lake Charles area. Employers are recruiting in all departments, and are offering full-time and part-time positions.

Job openings are in several industries and professional fields including medical, hospitality, city, state, and local government. Some of the participating employers are as follows: Lake Charles Fire Department, Calcasieu Parish School Board, Literacy Council of Southwest Louisiana, Inc., American Job Center of Region V Louisiana Workforce Commission, Lake Charles City Hall Jobs Board SWLA

Don't miss the opportunity to begin a career or start a new one! Remember to come dressed in business attire, and bring business cards, and a few copies of your most recent resume. It is also good to have a valid ID. You never know. You may make an awesome first impression so, be prepared to get interviewed on the spot.
