Lake Charles Man Arrested for Attempted 1st-Degree Murder
An 18-year-old Lake Charles man is behind bars for his involvement in an August 25, 2018 robbery and shooting in the 3500 block of McKinley Street.
According to a media release, on Tuesday, September 25, Kai Carriere-Richard was identified by Lake Charles Police Department detectives for his direct involvement in the incident. A warrant for his arrest was issued, and on Thursday, October 11, where the LCPD SWAT team later located and arrested Richard. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
Kai Carriere-Richard, 18, of Lake Charles, is charged with attempted 1st-degree murder. His bond is set at $200,000.
