Lake Charles Man High on Drugs Hit by Car on Broad Street

UPDATE: January 23, 1:11 p.m. -- In a Facebook comment that has since been removed by the poster, the man injured in the video did survive being hit from behind by the seemingly unsuspecting driver of the car. He was seen in an alleged video standing and talking with what looks to be family and friends, who were praising God for his recovery.

January 22, 2016 -- Presumably, a Lake Charles man "high on drugs" drops his pants and bends over in the middle of Broad Street near the Knights Inn motel, and is then rear ended by an oncoming car. Someone in the opposite lane was filming from their car when the incident took place. Lake Charles Police are seen responding to the incident sometime later in the video.

The incident never made into the hands of local news affiliates. A close friend of mine spotted the bizarre video on WorldStarHipHop, and shared it with me after he recognized the scenery in the background.

The video was uploaded to WSHH on Monday, January 18, 2016.

I wish the person behind the camera had put it down to at least caution oncoming traffic, while someone notified police and medics. This accident was preventable.
