Lake Charles Police Investigating Shooting

The Lake Charles Police Department is investigating a shooting after they were contacted on Thursday, August 29, by a local hospital about two victims who came in with gunshot wounds.

The shootings reportedly took place in the 1500 block of 4th Ave. Officers determined two vehicles exchanged gunfire in the 500 block of 4th Ave. where one occupant in each vehicle was shot. The victims are being treated at a medical facility in Lafayette, La. and listed in stable condition.
