LCPD Investigation Armed Robbery and Shooting on Winterhalter Street

It was at 3:02 pm on Tuesday,  December 18, 2018, when officers with the Lake Charles Police Department responded to an attempted armed robbery and shooting took place in the 2000 block of Winterhalter St.

According to a media release, responding officers determined that four black male juveniles attempted to rob someone, where one of the suspects drew a gun and two of the suspects were shot. The two juvenile suspects who were shot were transported to a local hospital to have their gunshot wounds treated. They were reportedly listed in stable condition.

The remaining two juvenile suspects were arrested and charged with armed robbery and armed robbery with a firearm.
