Today in Tha Wire Lifetime is at it again and looking to continue their run of biopics on famous R&B singers from the 90's.  Lincoln Heights actress, Rhyon Nicole Brown, will star in networks upcoming biopic on the "First Lady of Death Row"... Michel'le.  In case your unfamiliar Brown played Lizzie Sutton on the ABC sitcom for four seasons and had a few guest roles on other popular TV series like Everybody Loves Raymond, Boston Public, ER and more.  Yet it's going to be interesting to see if she can pull-off portraying Michel'le, especially the singers unusual voice.

The Lifetime movie, The Michel’le Story, will detail the L.A. singers life and career start to finish.  Telling the true story of when she was discovered by N.W.A icon, Eazy-E, becoming one of the early platinum artists on the Ruthless Records roster.  The movie will also cover the singers toxic longtime relationship with N.W.A. legend Dr. Dre, and her far from perfect marriage to Death Row mogul Suge Knight.  Reprising his role as Suge from the 2015 N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, is actor R. Marcos Taylor.  As for Dre, he will be portrayed by actor Curtis Hamilton.

The Michel’le Story is in the early production stages and word has it, things will get popping on it in June.  As far as a premiere date, that's anyone guess.  By the way, this film is the first of several movies series based on the lives of 1990’s Hip Hop stars yet to come. Films already in the works include to stories about Tha Dogg Pound, Master P, Cash Money, and Tupac.  So looks life Lifetime is going to be pretty busy for the next few years.  Of course I will keep you posted on all of the above.
