According to AJC.com, Lil Waynes tour buses were hit with a barrage of bullets early Sunday morning (April 26).  Cobb County police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce, has confirmed the shooting and reports at this time they have no known suspects. The bus drivers called 911 and reported they were being shot at on I-285, near Cobb County before stopping at a nearby hotel.  The shooting took place right after Lil Wayne wrapped-up a show at Club Compound.

According to Atlanta police spokeswoman Elizabeth Espy, she said her department was called out to the Mandarin Oriental hotel, “regarding someone shooting at a bus that Lil Wayne was on,” Sunday on Peachtree Road at about 3:30 a.m. in the morning.  Espy said when responding officers arrived they found two tour buses with multiple bullet holes.

She continued, “Witnesses could only provide a limited description of the suspect vehicles." adding, "They were described as two white vehicles, possibly a Corvette-style vehicle and an SUV.”

Thankfully, no one was injured and for now. Weezy's camp has no comment on the matter. Stop the madness fam.

Flipping the script to a more positive note, AllHipHop reports D'Angelo is going back out on tour.  It just so happens he'll be making at least one stop close to home too!  After dropping his comeback album, Black Messiah, D hit the road with The Vanguard and looks like he's ready to do it again.  Look for D'Angelo to blow through the states for The Second Coming Tour, before he heads to Europe.
