NBA "bad boy" Matt Barnes drove 95 miles to confront his former teammate and current coach for the New York Knick's, Derek Fisher.  The New York Post reports Barnes has been feeling some kind of way about his estranged wife, Gloria Govan, dating Derek Fisher.   Things got nasty this week when Barnes got a tip the two were keeping company, at the home he used to share with his wife.  According to reports the Memphis Grizzlies forward left practice early on Tuesday and drove two hours from Santa Barbara to L.A. to check Fisher.

Barnes and Govan have been on and off again for a while.  Their story and some of their marital problems have played out on TV in VH1's Basketball Wives LA season 1-2. After dating for a while the two married in 2012, but it's been a rocky road.  Now it appears they've gone their separate ways, but haven't divorced.  Barnes is rumored to be kicking it with Rihanna these days.  The two have reportedly been seen out a couple of times, but there's no official word on them being a couple.  At least not yet.  Govan has been allegedly seeing Fisher for a couple of months and word is they are a couple.

Whether their separated or not, looks like Matt Barnes isn't cool with his former Laker teammate playing pillow talk in his former home, with his soon-to-be ex-wife.  No one knows for sure what happened when Barnes rolled-up them.  Some bloggers have suggested that things got physical between the two men, while others say he only argued with Gloria and didn’t put his hands on Fisher.

One thing for sure, something did go down and HipHollwood reports the NBA is investigating the situation and so are the Grizzlies, who released this statement on the matter:

“We are aware and currently gathering information regarding today’s report involving Matt Barnes.”

The Grizzlies will play the Knicks in January on the 16th in Memphis. Hopefully this will all be resolved by then, if not...get your popcorn.
