A husband reportedly shot and killed his wife and then turned the gun on himself on Christmas Eve on Pleasant Drive in Lake Charles. Investigators deemed it a murder-suicide.

It was at about 8:20 am on Monday, December 24, 2018, when deputies from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 4008 Pleasant Dr., in Lake Charles, "after a call from a concerned neighbor". Deputies reportedly found the deceased bodies of Adam Foster, 38, and Renee Foster, 49, upon their arrival, said a media release.

Investigators determined that Adam Foster shot his wife Renee Foster and two of their three dogs before turning the gun on himself in the backyard where his body was reportedly found by a neighbor. The third dog was reportedly unharmed

Sheriff Tony Mancuso also told KPLC, there was no reported history of domestic abuse.
