St. Louis bred rapper Nelly is already a regular on Kevin Hart's Real Husbands of Hollywood reality show, but now the rapper is ready to star in his own.

In 2005, Nelly landed his biggest role to date, starring in the movie The Longest YardHowever, he's managed to stay relevant since then appearing on several TV shows like the hit crime drama CSI: NY, plus a few cameo appearances in 90210  and T.I. & Tiny : Family Hustle.  If that's not enough Nelly also mentored contestants on The CW's singing competition show The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep.

Now St. Lou's own is ready to make a power move by appearing in his own reality show, which is headed to BET.  The Hollywood Reporter revealed, BET has picked up an unscripted program starring Nelly.  For now the new up-and-coming series doesn't have a name, but word has it there will be eight hour-long episodes in all.  Nelly will serve executive produce the show, where camera crews will follow him around 24-7 giving fans a look at his lifestyle.  The main focus will be on his career, business dealings, raising his children, and even highlight his relationship with his new boo, Shantel Jackson, Floyd Mayweather’s ex.
