Nick Gordon Is Arrested For Domestic Violence

Today in Tha Wire, Bobbi Kristina Brown's ex, Nick Gordon, has been arrested for beating down his current girlfriend. Ironic or justice? TMZ is reporting on Friday last week (June 9, 2017,) the woman was so badly battered that she sought medical attention at a nearby hospital. The incident occurred in a residence, believed to belong to the female in Sanford, Florida. Reportedly soon after checking herself out, she went straight to the police station and filed a domestic violence report against Gordon. The woman, whose name is being withheld, claimed Nick violently assaulted her and held hostage in the home.

Sanford PD took photos of the females injuries for evidence, where AllHipHop reports she had several bruises on her arms. Authorities then went out to the property, located Gordon by the pool area and arrested him. He was booked, and at last word is currently being held without bond. Gordon faces two charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment and battery. This story is still under investigation, and as I learn more I will bring you more info.

In the meantime, it's no secret that Gordon had been violent with Bobbi Kristina on a number of occasions. Her family and friends believe he's responsible for her 2015 death, but so far hasn't been able to get him charged with for the murder. That hasn't stopped them from fighting to bring him to justice though. The LATimes reports in November (2016) the stars estate scored a small break, by winning a judgement against Gordon in a wrongful death civil lawsuit. A judge found him liable for Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, and ordered he pay $36 million in damages to her estate. You can bet they plan on collecting every single dime too. Lawyers for her estate said, “we intend to pursue, with all vigor, the full collection of the judgment.”

Bobby Brown said he was glad they got the judgement, because it prevents Gordon from using his daughter's name for financial gain. The singer added, “I do know that Mr. Gordon will be unable to slander my daughter’s name in the future or obtain any benefits from the use of Krissy’s name.” Don't get it twisted though, the New Edition legend won't rest until Gordon is charged with his daughter's murder.

According to reports Gordon was accused of beating Bobbi to a pulp a couple of days before she was found unresponsive. Court docs alleged he, "gave Bobbi Kristina a toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious and then put her face down in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage." Bobbi's autopsy report seemed to support those allegations, with findings of physical abuse and various drugs in her system. Unfortunately the actual cause of death is “undetermined,” and that's the only thing keeping Gordon from being brought up on criminal charges.

At the time of her death the coroner revealed some pretty shocking details about the state of the 22-year old's body. Bobbi was missing a front tooth, her top lip was split, her face and head had relatively new cuts and abrasions, and body was extremely scared up from older wounds. A spokesman for the Fulton County D.A.'s office said Bobbi's death is still under investigation. However her father is not satisfied with the slow results and asked the D.A. to do more saying, “I do need for the District Attorney’s Office to step up and begin the criminal prosecution of Mr. Gordon.” The super star stated, “The delay in that matter is of great concern to me and my family.”
