Sheriff’s Office Searching for Man Who Burglarized Local Business Last Month

Detectives from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office are searching for the person responsible for burglarizing and stealing from a Westlake business on September 10.

It was at midnight on September 11, when deputies responded to Ideal Cement Road in regards to the burglary. An "unknown man" reportedly "gained access into the business" and stole roughly $1,500 worth of tools. Surveillance video shows the man was inside for "approximately 2 hours" before he loaded the tools into a car and drove away.
