A Sulphur man and a female accomplice were arrested by Louisiana State Police Troop D after they learned on Dec. 22 that the man skateboarded down the I-210 Bridge in Calcasieu Parish.

In a Facebook video, that's since accumulated over 40,000 views, Louis C. McGlone, 26, Sulphur, is seen skating down the bridge as traffic passes them in the adjacent lane. McGlone was being followed by Lindsey O. Hulett, 34, Lake Charles, who was also arrested for her role in recording the stunt from her vehicle. According to LSP Troop D, "the video showed the creation of a hazardous situation for the participants as well as motorists on the bridge".

On December 26, 2019, arrest warrants were issued for McGlone and Hulett. They were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center for aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce. This law prohibits the performance of any act on a highway wherein it is foreseeable that human life might be endangered.

If convicted, each faces up to 15 years in prison, said the media release. Harsh sentence much? But, I digress.

LSP encourages motorists who observe reckless driving or criminal activity to dial 911 or *LSP (*577) to connect to the nearest LSP Troop.

Watch the video below which is still posted to the Facebook account of McGlone.
