There Will Be No Trash Pickup on Good Friday

The City of Lake Charles has announced they will be observing Good Friday on April 2. However, there is no need to worry, as the dates have been changed and your trash will be picked up on the following days.

If you trash is usually picked up on Friday, you will be rescheduled for pickup on Saturday, April 3. Normal schedule days will remain on schedule. Also, the Team Green Recycling Truck and Green Station No. 2 will not be available on Friday, April 2. The collection will resume on Saturday, April 3.

Make sure all of your containers for pick up are out and ready before 7:00am on collection day. If you're like me, you'll take your trash out the night before because I tend to always miss the morning. All other city departments closed on Good Friday will resume on Monday, April 5.
