Tory Lanez Claims J. Cole and Pusha-T Aren’t Ready to Go Bar for Bar With Him
Tory Lanez ignited social media late Wednesday night (Jan. 23) by claiming that Pusha-T and J. Cole weren't ready to challenge him. He said as much while proclaiming his perceived rap game superiority on Twitter, and during that string of tweets, he made it clear he doesn't believe Cole and Push can match-up with him lyrically.
"Don’t tell me nothing about Cole or Pusha T Either .. some of my favorite rappers but ..... I gave them both an equal opportunity to go bar for bar with me . And they weren’t READY," Lanez tweeted.
The above tweet came after Tory labeled "your favorite rapper" as a fraud for not stepping up to the mic.
"Your favorite rapper" could be a reference to a bunch of lyricists Lanez has had problems with in the past who haven't fired back in the recording booth. He could've been referring to The Game or Royce da 5'9, but both reportedly resolved their issues with him. Although his thoughts on a battle with Pusha-T is no secret, this is the first time we've heard of Lanez's challenge to Cole.
As of this report, neither J. Cole nor Pusha-T have responded directly to Tory's claims. The rapper and singer's confident tweets come before he heads overseas with Drake for their Assassination Vacation in Europe and his upcoming Chixtape 5 coming soon.
