Tory Lanez' debut album, I Told You, is finally here.

Along with his previously released singles, "Say It," "Luv" "Flex" and "Cold Hard Love," the 28-track album brings forth some new material from the rapper/singer. (Although it's technically 14 songs with 14 accompanying skits).

For the album, Lanez did it J. Cole style with no guest features. And so far it's gaining success as its landed th eNo. 1 spot on iTunes' Hip-Hop/Rap Albums Chart and No. 1 in albums overall. Only time will tell if he'll get that certified platinum status as well though.

But that's not all there is to get excited for if you're a fan of the Toronto native. Fans can catch Lanez at his launch party in Los Angeles this weekend. He'll also be signing albums at Los Angeles' ADBD. Tory Lanez is spreading the love and heading to his hometown to see his Toronto fans as well on Aug. 24. Fans who order the album will get a chance to catch Lanez at the performance.

Ahead of the album's release Lanez shared why he thinks Canada plays a large part in his music.

"I’m a very cultural person and Canada is a very cultural place,” he said in an interview with The Guardian. "In Canada, you grow up listening to so much different music that when it’s time to make your own, you subconsciously take what you’ve heard growing up and it goes into your own sound. I think that’s what makes music coming from Canadian artists stand out."

For fans not in Los Angeles or Toronto, Lanez will head across the United States and Canada for the I Told You tour. Check out the tour information here.
