It looks like Travis Scott wins again.

After a chart discrepancy was reported when the Houston rapper's chart-topping album, Astroworld, returned to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and 6ix9ine dropped his Dummy Boy album the same week, Travis will retain his position.

A spokesperson for Billboard tells TMZ that no correction to the chart was warranted despite the race between Travis and 6ix9ine being very close.

"In a historically close race, after a rigorous review of the process and the methodology by which the No. 1 ranking on last week’s Billboard 200 album chart was awarded to Travis Scott’s Astroworld, we concluded that no correction was warranted,” the Billboard rep stated.

Lawsuits were apparently threatened last Friday (Dec. 7) in multiple meetings between Sony, Billboard, Nielsen and Create Music Group (the distributor of 6ix9ine’s Dummy Boy) over Nielsen's inaccuracies regarding streaming numbers on Tidal and SoundCloud. Soundcloud reportedly issued 6ix9ine's streaming numbers late, which resulted in the streams being disqualified.

La Flame sticking at No. 1 is good news for the rapper, who released one of the best hip-hop projects of 2018. The collection features everyone's favorite track "Sicko Mode," which hit the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this month. It's his first No. 1 song ever in his career.

As for 6ix9ine, he has other things to worry about. The embattled rapper is sitting in jail under a federal indictment of racketeering and weapons charges with additional drug-trafficking charges to boot.

In a statement to TMZ, 6ix9ine's attorney Lance Lazzaro said that his client is not accepting any plea deal and is taking his case to trial. "A plea deal is simply off the table, even if the feds offer one," he told the outlet.

"[6ix9ine] was never part of a conspiracy, plain and simple. Nor did he ever participate in any incidents that the government has alleged," he added.

6ix9ine has pleaded not guilty to the charges. His trial is scheduled to begin on Sept. 4, 2019.
