
Two Former LSU Tigers Sulphur Fight Results in One Shot and One Arrested
There are not a lot of details on this one yet. The Sulphur Police Department is not releasing a lot of detail as they do when an investigation is ongoing.
Former LSU stand out line backer Tahj Jones suffered a bullet wound in Sulphur this past Friday night. He is a Sulphur High graduate and was allegedly shot by a Washington- Marion Graduate and another former LSU player Bandon Winey. Winey also played in the NFL with the Washington Redskins and New York Giants. According to the American Press the two were both visiting the same girl at Town and Country Apartments on Beglis Parkway when an argument ensued and Jones was shot. Winey was later arrested at his Lake Charles home without incident. Jones was transported to Rapides Regional Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. According to WWL.com he ran drills at last week's Pro Day in hopes of being drafted.
