HipHollywood reports Vin Diesel took to Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 2, 2016) and confirmed the final three installments of the Fast & Furious franchise are on the way.  Furious 8 hits theaters next year and Straight Outta Compton’s F. Gary Gray has signed on to direct it! Gray is ecstatic saying he was brought on “to use my own lens, and that’s what I’m here for.”

It's going down!  Diesel shared the below pic late last night:

Diesel was more than happy to reveal the BIG news adding the caption “The studio has asked me to release some very big Fast news.” Wasting no time, filming is already in progress for the eighth installment!   So far, it's unclear as to whether or not The Rock, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham will back. However, word has it that there will be some new faces coming on board.  By the way, peep the teaser trailer for Furious 8 below:

F. Gary Gray told MTV News of the next installment, “I love the story I’m about to tell. I’m having a ton of fun. I feel like a kid again. You’ll see the manifestation of that on the screen. I’m just really excited about it.”

Get this, according to HipHollywood by the time the 10th installment hits theaters, it'll mark the 20th anniversary of the series.  Crazy right? The original cast included, The late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordan Brewster and Ja Rule.

Real quickly as the biggest night in football approaches, the Super Bowl 50 performers have been announced.  Look for Lady Gaga to sing the National Anthem, with Coldplay holding down the halftime show.  FYI, Beyonce and Bruno Mars are supposed to be making an appearance as well.
