CPSO To Host The AARP Smart Driver Safety Program In February
Want to get discounts on your car insurance for the next three years? Make sure you register for the AARP Smart Driver Safety Program hosted by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department (CPSO.) The event is open to the public and you don't have to be an AARP member to participate, however you'll get a discount on the registration price if you are. Take a look at the video below and get an idea of what to expect by taking the program.
AARP members pay $15 for the class and non-members pay $20. Come out this Thursday, February 2 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and lunch will be provided at no cost. The class will be held at the John Scott Doyle Building, behind the Calcasieu Sheriff’s Prison, located at 5400 E. Broad Street. There is no driving or written test required and lunch will be provided by the CPSO. When the participants complete the program a certificate will be issued and could possibly entitle them, to discounts on car insurance for up to three years.
