Don't Miss The Annual Lake Charles Mardi Gras Chicken Run

Lake Charles and all surrounding areas get ready to do it big with the 34th annual Lake Charles Mardi Gras Chicken Run in Lake Charles this weekend with fun for the entire family.

The official kickoff party will be inside the KPC Hall this Saturday night with Lil Nate and The Zydeco Big Tymers live in concert for a big zydeco party like no other. The doors open at 9 and the party goes until. Then Sunday get ready for the parade with the lineup beginning at noon at the Lake Charles civic center. The parade kicks off at 12:45 pm. ATV's, UTV's, Horses and floats are all welcomed. If you are looking to enter a horse into the parade, make sure you call to pre regiseter your horse at 337660-1050. Then after the parade get ready for the fun kicking off around 3 pm with Chris Ardoin and Nu Step and Sean Ardoin and Zydekool and the boss of Zydeco Keith Frank and the Soileau Zydeco band live in the building.
