Free Child Passenger Safety Check Event Today In Lake Charles

Don't miss the free child passenger safety check event today in Lake Charles at the Civic Center from noon-2pm.

Today Louisiana State Police Troop D and the Louisiana Passenger Safety Task Force will provide free child passenger safety seat checks at the rear of the Lake Charles Civic Center (900 Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles) from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. This event is in conjunction with the My Fair Baby Safe Sleep Baby Shower which starts at 10:00 a.m this morning.

These checks will be conducted by child passenger safety technicians who will provide hands-on child safety seat inspections and answer questions at no charge for new parents, grandparents and guardians.

This event is a great opportunity for caregivers to ensure their child or grand-kids are in an age and weight appropriate child seat.
