Going “Gluten Free” currently one of the biggest trends in the food and health industry. “Gluten Free” diets have been linked to health claims such as weight loss and increased energy. These claims lead consumers to believe that this diet is a choice, rather than a necessity.

Although, for the 1% diagnosed with celiac disease, “Gluten Free” is a lifestyle necessity that prevents further damage to the body and relieves digestive discomfort.  Gluten is a protein that is found in grains such as wheat, barley and rye. Gluten is found in a vast amount of foods and can be tricky to find on food labels.
