Houston was at the mecca of southern hip hop from the early 80's with the Geto Boys and Rap A Lot. They ruled the south before we got No Limit and of course Suave House and Cash Money records. The H- Town scene slowed down but not before we got artist like Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Chamillinaire and of course Slim Thug and Z-Ro.

We also know that's the home of the infamous DJ Screw as well. Then ATL really got on the music scene and things really haven't stopped moving since. Fast forward to today and there is a new breed of hip hop and artist coming from the "H". About a month ago I got a sample of this guy called Chedda Da Connect who recently inked a deal with E One records. And now there is a new guy on the scene whose got the young and the older generation dancing in the streets. His name is T-Wayne and his song Nasty Freestyle is the joint. It caught the attention of the 300 label which is ran by hip hop label executive Lyor Cohen and Kevin Liles. This is also the home of Fetty Wap whose got the number one song in the country.

Check out his video for Nasty Freestyle:

I am sure with the signing, he will probably reissue the video with a bigger director and get it televsion worth, but check out the following that he has and the impact the song has on some of the fans.
