Katt Williams is possibly one of the luckiest men alive when it comes to avoiding jail time. The pint sized comedian has been sentenced to five years probation in his drug and gun case.

According to TMZ, Williams pled no contest on Thursday, December 1, in Hall County, GA to assault and battery charges from his March 2016 gun and drug case that allegedly started with him beating a bodyguard with a bat.

The comedians home was searched after a bodyguard claimed Williams beat him with a bat for refusing to “engage in criminal activity,” said the news site. Police also found marijuana and guns during the search. Williams must now surrender all guns found, in addition to roughly $16,000 seized by police.

He may have only received 5 years of probation, but Katt isn’t getting off that easy as he was ordered to submit to treatment and evaluations for anger management, substance abuse and impulse control. The troubled comedian must also pay some heft fines and stay  far away from the bodyguard, said TMZ.
