Moss Bluff Middle School Student Arrested for Threat

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office detectives investigated a "possible threat" from a student at Moss Bluff Middle School after they were contacted on the evening of Sunday, September 15.

Detectives spoke with several students who said they heard the 12-year-old student make threats at school on Friday, September 13. Detectives spoke with the boy who told them during lunch he claimed he would be "the next school shooter".

The boy was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center. He's charged with terrorizing.
