Sam Houston High School Student Arrested for Threat to School
Detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office were notified about a threat from a student at Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff on the morning of Tuesday, September 10.
According to a media release from Kim Myers, investigators learned the 15-year-old boy "threatened to shoot up the school later this month". The boy also confirmed to detectives that he made the threat during class when students were present.
He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Centre and charged with terrorizing.
A CPSO School Resource Office made the arrest.
