Today at about 9:30am, detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office responded to another possible threat from a student at Moss Bluff Middle School.
According to the media release from Kayla Vincent, school personnel advised the CPSO School Resource Officer that a 13-year-old girl's biography on her social media account stated, "I'll be the next school shooter," along with an emoji of a handgun. Detectives spoke with the girl where she advised them she updated her biography a month ago, said Vincent.
The girl was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing. The school resource officer was the arresting deputy.
