According to a media release from Kim Myers, two men entered a pharmacy on Highway 14 in Lake Charles on June 9, at about 10 am, armed with a knife and took a set of headphones and some food and left the store. Deputies with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the incident and after viewing the stores' video surveillance, it allowed them to catch the suspects a short time later.

The suspects are identified as Aaron J. Carvin, 27, and Nicholas D. Carvin, 26, both of 3425 Polk Street, Lake Charles. The address is near the store. The  duo confirmed to detectives that they were involved in the robbery and that they were responsible for other robberies that had taken place at the same pharmacy, said Myers.

They were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with armed robbery, and theft less than $1,000. Aaron’s bond is set at $255,000 and Nicholas’ bond at $155,000.

More arrests and charges are possible as detectives look into the other robberies.
