Was Tupac’s Murder a Conspiracy Plot or Simply Retaliation? [VIDEO]
On September 13, 1996, as I hung with friends at a pizza parlor inside the local mall, came news that a hip-hop icon, my favorite rapper at the time, Tupac Shakur had succumbed to gun shot wounds sustained on the night of September 7, 1996, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Earlier on the night of Sept. 7, the “All Eyes On Me” rapper along with Marion “Suge” Knight and their entourage were leaving the championship boxing match between Bruce Seldon and Mike Tyson, when they spotted a rival gang member in the hotel lobby of the MGM Grand. Associates of Death Row Records along with Tupac assaulted the man, because of a previous incident where he robbed a member of the Death Row’s crew. That brawl was caught on survelliance video, but never reported. Later that night, the BMW Knight and Shakur were riding in was riddled with bullets.
After years of accusations, conspiracy theories, and failed attempts at nabbing the killer, could it be that Tupac’s death was simply out of retaliation for what transpired the night he was shot in Las Vegas? A Vanity Fair Confidential segment seems to think it’s probable.
