Denzel Washington stars as a highly skilled former government operative turned vigilante. 'The Equalizer' is based on the 1980's TV series. The Antoine Fuqua directed reboot has Washington playing the hero to a young woman (Chloë Grace Moretz) who he witnesses being manhandled by pimps, of which he finds out are actually Russian mobsters.
