Third Suspect Named in Connection to Homicide on North Simmons Street
Lake Charles, La. - The Lake Charles Police Department are still searching for a third person involved in the shooting death of 31-year-old Gary Obrien at 409 North Simmons St., on Monday, July 17. Investigators have identified the suspect, and want the public's help in locating him.
16-year-old Justin Ned is wanted for “principle to first degree murder, 3 counts of armed robbery, and 3 counts of armed robbery with a firearm,” said a LCPD media release from Lt. Kevin Kirkum. A “custodial affidavit” has been signed and issued by a judge for his arrest.
Ned is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone know his whereabouts they should call the Lake Charles Police Department at 491.1311. “Anyone who is harboring Ned could face criminal charges,” said Kirkum.
