Believe it or not, there are many ways to save money and stretch your food dollars.  We always hear eating healthy is expensive, but I am here to say that with some planning and strategy, eating healthy on a budget is possible.

Here are three main steps to accomplishing this task.  1. Plan before you shop 2. Purchase the items on your list, at the best price and 3. Prepare your meals.  This will stretch your dollars.  For more info on how to eat healthy on a budget, refer to choosemyplate.gov for some helpful tips.
